Privacy policy

Version of October 2026

This page explains how badging.ma processes your data in your badging.ma account (all your shows), in line with Moroccan law no. 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data.

Who processes your data

For your badging.ma account (the list of your shows, your profile and your sign-in), the controller is SALON & Expo SARL.

badging.ma: SALON & Expo SARL, to be completed. Declaration to the CNDP: to be completed.

For any question about your data: [email protected].

Quote requests on badging.ma

When you request a quote on badging.ma, we use your name, organisation, email, phone number if you give it and your message only to answer you and make you a proposal. Basis: your consent, given in the form. These requests are deleted 3 years after they were last handled.

The data we process

  • What you give when registering: title, first and last name, email, phone, company, job title, city, country, and your answers to the show’s form (activity, interests, days of visit…).
  • Your badge: category (visitor, press, VIP…), badge number and a QR code that holds only a signed reference, no personal data.
  • Your choices: what you accepted or refused, when, and the text shown at that moment.
  • At the show: your passages at the entrances (day, time, gate), and the exhibitors who scanned your badge with your agreement.
  • For a stand request: your business contact details, the stand size and type you want, and your exchanges with the sales team.
  • Technical data needed for security: IP address and browser when a form is sent or when you sign in.

Why, and on what basis

  • Organising your visit: recording your registration, making your badge, checking entrances, sending you the confirmation, the badge and practical information. Basis: your registration and your agreement, given in the required box of the form.
  • Letting exhibitors contact you again: when you let an exhibitor scan your badge, they receive your first and last name, company, job title, city, phone and email. Basis: your agreement, given in the required box of the form; you decide whether to show your badge to an exhibitor.
  • Sending you the show’s news and the offers of exhibitors and partners, only if you ticked the optional box. You can withdraw this agreement at any time.
  • Handling a stand request and contacting you about it. Basis: your request and your agreement.
  • Protecting forms and accounts against abuse (robots, repeated attempts). Basis: the legitimate interest of the organiser and of badging.ma.

Who receives your data

  • The team of badging.ma, each according to their role (reception, security, sales…).
  • The exhibitors you let scan your badge, for the data listed above only. Each exhibitor is then responsible for how they use it.
  • badging.ma, the organiser’s technical provider.
  • Our technical providers, only to run the service: hosting (to be completed) and email sending (to be completed).
  • Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a form is sent by a person and not a robot: it receives your IP address and information about your browser, never the content of the form.

Your data is never sold.

How long

  • Registrations, badges and entrance passages: 3 years after the end of the show, then deleted or made anonymous.
  • Proof of your choices: as long as the data they concern, so we can show what you agreed to.
  • Stand requests that went nowhere: 3 years after the last reply.
  • Sign-in links: 15 minutes. Security logs: 12 months.
  • Data received by an exhibitor is kept under the exhibitor’s responsibility.

Transfers outside Morocco

Cloudflare runs the anti-robot checks on its servers, including outside Morocco. Should other data be hosted or processed outside Morocco, it would only be with the CNDP’s authorisation, and this page would say so.

Your rights

You can at any time access your data, have it corrected, object to its processing on legitimate grounds and withdraw your agreement for news and offers (articles 7 to 9 of law 09-08).

The easiest way: your badging.ma account (/moi), where you can correct your details, withdraw your marketing agreement, download your data and cancel a registration.

Or write to us: [email protected]. We reply within 30 days.

If you believe your rights are not respected, you can contact the CNDP (www.cndp.ma).

Cookies

We only use the cookies needed for the site to work: the session (to keep you signed in and follow the form you are filling) and form protection. No advertising or audience-measurement cookies.

Security

Encrypted connections (https), access limited by each person’s role, a log of actions and exports, and each organiser’s and exhibitor’s data kept apart. Your badge’s QR code holds no personal data.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is published here with its date. The agreements you gave keep a record of the text shown at that moment.
